Your two favourite characters, together at last.
The big question; did Drift build the fire to keep Verity warm, or did Verity build the fire to show the big lug how it's done?
I like the sketchy shadow effect you've got going there; very cool understanding of light effects. _________________ You exist because we allow it. You will end because we demand it.

The fire was already there. It's a magical fire! _________________

Good lines as ever Sprite, though I think in this case that Drift's pose definitely needs a bit more work. He looks... weird. Also, I have no idea what emotion his face is supposed to be getting across. Continue, and silence my criticism! _________________

The face is one of the things I want to work on a bit more. He doesn't really look like Drift. And well, any suggestions you might have about the pose are welcome. I haven't gotten beyond "legs need to be bigger" yet. _________________

I don't think there's anything shockingly wrong with that sketch - it's a sketch, after all. The composition is spot on, and I love the background shading.
If the image were finessed for a final piece, though, I'd suggest that you focus on making Drift's upper body look more like it's angled forward, and maybe shift that whole part of him up a little to keep his proportions balanced.
I wish my sketches looked this good! _________________ Check out my page on DA http://hde2009.deviantart.com/

I like how Drift has the sword on his back, like he does in vehicle mode. _________________ Print me! Print me! Print me!

I never thought Drift's instructions mention using the hook on his back in robot mode. He could keep it in his hand the whole time. I know many Animated toys like Blurr have no weapon storage in robot mode. One reason why Hasbro might omit using the slot as weapon storage in vehicle mode is because the sword is long. Drift would have trouble sitting down if the sword pointed down last his crotch. _________________ Print me! Print me! Print me!

What has the toy gort to do with anything? The Great Sword plays a sizable role in Drift's history and character. Read the comics; it's ALWAYS on his back, he *never uses it*.
Sprite here has been a Drift fan for far longer than the guy had a toy... _________________ Clutch-Munching Piston Licker
