| I like to think that the Ceti Alpha system is a "black booked" system. Something that only the Admirals and Section 31 know about. Hell, maybe even only 31. A colony of genetically enhanced people who took over a frontline starship is less then a day and could fly the damn thing in about that time? Scary, but possibly useful "just in case". |

| Story continues to be good. Art improved over Issue #2's drop, but why does Khan look like Conan the Barbarian in so many panels? Newest review up at TrekWeb.com. |

It was alright. I was frankly getting kind of bored of this series by issue #3, but I did like how it ended with Terrell and Chekov landing on Ceti Alpha V. _________________

Well Khan did study the Original Constitution Class Cruisers full schematics when he and Kirk first crossed paths in the TOS 1960's episode.
The Reliant may have been newer, but the basics were probably similar.
The Only reason Kirk and the Enterprise survived in the Wrath of Khan was Khans lack of familiarity with fed protocols.
And After Watching Star Trek 6 when Praxis Exploded, they sure as hell detected that...but Excelsior was somewhat in proximity of the event.
Maybe the explosion of CA6 was ignored during the Vger incident??? Thats really the only excuse they could use for not knowing it exploded.
But, if your in a Star System, thats been charted by Star Fleet, and you dont see one of the planets anymore... lol well now that I am sitting here picking this apart in my head...
A modern remake of the Wrath of Khan would probably tell a more detailed story... their would be debris from the exploded planet, they would enter the system knowing a planet was gone, from previous system maps, and then Chekov was there so he would have some memory other than a book or a seat belt to jog his memory...
Then they would beam down to investigate, find the remains of Khans ship and then get captured.... lah dah dee dah...heh heh.. still a good flick. _________________ Everything I post is ok to print, use, copy, use for inspiration, promote world peace, change lives, etc...and so on and so on.
