The saga finally ends.
I'm happy to report that my 9 year old son health is fully restored and he's back to being a regular kid again. The real bummer of the story is that he was unable to go trick or treating, so we watched a scary movie instead. To make up for it, this coming weekend he'll be dressing up and spookin' his grandparents.
I really would like to thank all of you who have supported my family though this. I'd like to specially thank HdE for his remarkable one of a kind pick me up. You have a heart of gold man.
Sincerely,
The Rev. _________________ Everything you just read was a complete waste of time.

THIS JUST IN!!!
Something just occurred to me. Someone has been missing from the forums for almost a month. I'm sure its for good reason or at least I hope so. I'd hate to think that something terrible has happened to one of our forum members.
So KJ, where ever you are I hope you're well. I for one miss his off beat remarks and bent sense of humour that only someone from Australia could possess.
Come back KJ .... we miss you. _________________ Everything you just read was a complete waste of time.

Nothing better than a classic Galieo vs. Tramp brain-off and I don't know if someone with Ford in their name should really have access to this site but I'll try my best! _________________ Everything you just read was a complete waste of time.

Pics From Halloween Past ... Proceed with Caution!!!!
Halloween is kind of a big deal at The Rev's house when it comes to my son. He loves Halloween mostly because he loves dressin' up. I got pics from a baby to now with him in his latest get-up. For my son ... Halloween is all year round.
It all starts about June, that's when the bug hits. The problem is he can never decide until the last couple of weeks what he wants to be. For instance this year it was James Bond, then a FBI Zombie, then Cobra Commander, then Snake Eyes, then finally he set on the Chainsaw Killer from Resident Evil 4.
That's when the fun begins .... or should I say hours and hours of scrounging thrift shops for the perfect costume materials. That's not counting hunting the country side for a burlap bag. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a burlap bag these days. Well let me tell you, it's *@#!&%* hard! But in the end, after some paint, trimming and a toy chainsaw later we had one happy kid.
Well enough of my yappin' here's some of his favorite costumes.
Halloween '06 - The Undertaker
Bought Hat and Wig
He's wearing his Mom's leather jacket
My mom made the tie
Halloween '08 - Link
My Mother-in-Law made the tunic and hat
Dad and I made the sword and shield completely out of wood
I made the gaunlets, sword sheath w/shoulder belt completely out of foam and alot of late nights
Oh yeah ... elf ears bought
Halloween '09 - Chainsaw Killer from RE4
Unfortunately my son came down with H1N1 this year and was unable to go out for Halloween. To make up for it we took him out to a few relatives the following Saturday when these pics were taken.
Shirt and overalls bought at Salvation Army.
Bag bought at Loyd's Bag Company.
Chainsaw from Toys r Us
Pic taken of my son taking a chomp out of the owner of our favorite movie store.
So yeah ... maybe we go a little overboard at The Rev's house, but its something that my wife and I enjoy doing with my son.
Here's a pic my son took of his GI Joe's while enduring H1N1. He set them up like they were at some funky dance party.
Well I hope you enjoyed our picture show because if you didn't you're going to get some of this ......
