I thought exactly the same thing. That's a very cringe-worthy line.
Other than that, the art and colouring is looking superb so far. |
I kind of thought it was funny. The Dyobots seem to enjoy their jobs, and would be proud of their work. Of course they would want to show it off.
If you were a Decepticon and came across an Infiltration Unit melted and ripped to pieces, you might think twice about confronting these guys.
Said it before, i'll say it again. They make The Wreckers look like wussies:-) |

Too true, but it works with The Dynobots. I don't want the Dinobots to be cartoon level dumb, but they're not Perceptor either. |

ah come on lads.
theyre clearly ripping the piss out of themselves to annoy grimlock. whats the odds he tells em to quit the chatter after that stuff ? (either that or a shot of em all "dead" now to juxtopose the current and past eras.
im just delighted were finally going to get some character on the dinos. art looks great so far, just hope it doesnt go all "arcee" on us.

her spotlight.printed way to dark dude. kinda ruined are very good comic.
when ya look at the preview stuff on the screen and ya see how murky it turned out it broke the heart.
havent seen that for a while though so hopefully your beautiful colouring will come out grand

I'm not really seeing any difference between this and the dialogue in Infiltr/Escal/Devast/Revel-ation arcs. They're always like this.
Just this time it's more noticeable to normal readers as we've had All Hail Megs, and we're viewing it slowly panel by panel.

I was more disappointed that the colouring style changed drastically half way through. Either that, or someone spilt orange juice on it during the printing stages.

Too true. its a little cheesy but I guess it kinda suits them. The "Dynobots woz here" line was a little too gangster rapper for me... I'd rather they leave some kind of calling card behind rather than go all LL Cool J on us.
Just as long as Furman doesn't have them creating a group called the "Lightning Strike Coalition" I'll be happy. That was one of the worst group names I've come across in my time reading comics.  Anyways, here's hoping that the four other bots get some good characterisation in this series. |

On Arcee's SL colors, that wasn't entirely Josh Perez's fault, if I remember right.
As for Josh Burcham's colors, rock on!
